SCOUTMASTER’S MESSAGE:
Please join me in congratulating our newest Eagle Scouts:

DYLAN APPLEGATE AND JAKOB KLINENBERG

On Wednesday, May 1, ASM Hanhart and I presented Dylan and Jakob to the Eagle Scout Character Board of Review, and we are proud to announce that they are both full fledged Eagle Scouts!

Dylan joined Troop 718 in 2012 and has served as Patrol Leader, Quartermaster, Asst. SPL, a member of Order of the Arrow, attended ILT and NYLT training, earned 60 nights of camping, the Gold Trail/Saver Award, National Forest Award, earned 27 merit badges and bronze palm. For his Eagle project Dylan built shelving for our own Redondo Beach Elks Lodge.

“Jake” also joined Troop 718 in 2012 and has been Den Chief, Quartermaster, Patrol Leader, is a member of Order of the Arrow, attended ILST and NYLT training, earned 60 nights of camping, Forest Conservation Award, NOA Gold Camping Award, Silver Trailsaver and World Conservation Awards. He earned 29 merit badges and bronze palm. For his Eagle project he built an exercise station at West High School.

I am honored to have been a part of their journey.  Please join me in congratulating Dylan and Jakob on their outstanding achievement.
