  • SUN SEPT 15  6:15-7:30 PM  TROOP ELECTIONS  Get ready to choose a leader…Get ready to BE a leader! 
    • SPL and Patrol Leader jobs are open to First Class and above.
    • If you wish to run for SPL or Patrol Leader, please talk to Mr. Johnson or Mr. Pagniano.  
    • All non-elected leadership positions will be assigned for First Class and above.  Ask Mr. Pagniano about these.

  • SUN SEPT 22  COURT OF HONOR  (Elks Lodge 315 Esplanade, RB)
    • 5:00-6:00 Set Up: Nuclear Narwhalls and Ask Your SPL Patrols
    • 6:00-8:00 Celebrate our Scouts and their accomplishments!
    • 8:00-8:30 Clean Up:  Melon Men,  KFC and Sparky Spartans Patrols
  • SUN SEPT 29  TROOP OLYMPICS & JOSHUA TREE PLANNING MEETING
    • 3:00-5:00 PM TROOP OLYMPICS!!
      • Scouts should wear: Class B and shorts
      • Scouts should bring: Water, family and competition spirit!
    • 5:00-5:30 PM Joshua Tree Planning Meeting
MERIT BADGE OPPORTUNITIES!
1.  Horsemanship: October 19, 12:30-2:30 p.m., and the cost will depend on number of registered Scouts ($45 or $75).  Email ASM G. Sorenson ([email protected]) if interested.
2.  Swimming:  September 28, 3 hours, time TBD, Cabrillo Scout Center, $30.  More details to come.

SEP 22  9-11:30 a.m.  Pancake Breakfast at the Elks Lodge (315 Esplanade, RB)  Whether you need service hours or are just plain hungry, come support our Charter Organization and get a delicious breakfast for only $7.00! (Membership not required.)  Help make this monthly event grow by telling friends, neighbors and coworkers. Scouts can sign up for service hour shifts and help serve breakfast, bus tables, or assist wait staff with drink refills.

NOV 22-24  7th Annual Pumpkin Smash at scenic Firestone Scout Reservation  There are so many fun activities planned for this camp we can’t list them all here, but Pumpkin Carving with Shotguns, Tomahawks and Arrows, to name a few!  ASM Rushton and SM Johnson leading.  Planning Meeting on Sunday, November 10th at 5 pm
