Dear Scouts and parents of 718,
If I’ve left anyone out I apologize and please let me know. It got a little crazy. Hunter, Matt B., Bennett, Troy, Jaden L., Andy, Bjorn, Alex, Nick P., Pierce, Matthew P., Cole, JB, Danny, Kento, Mr. Wakimoto, Mrs. Peters, Mr. Hanhart, Mr. burt and of course, my dad, Mr. Swensson!
Whether it be donating tools (thanks Mr. Hanhart, Mr. Arthur and Mr. Applegate), donating time, working hard or buying us all lunch. Every one of you helped me achieve this huge step in my goal to become an Eagle Scout. With this step out of the way, I can begin the final preparation in becoming an Eagle Scout. I am so blessed to have this troop to support me.
I would like to give special thanks to The Wakimoto family, the Peters family, and the Hanhart family for their amazing help and support all the way through the project.
FOR MY EAGLE PROJECT…
We will be building a railroad tie Berm wall, to tidy up a picnic area at a public attraction in Torrance.
The wall will be three ties high, making it slightly less than three feet tall.
- The site’s address is 2290 Washington Ave, Torrance, CA 90501
- The project is on August 27th and 28th.
I will need 7 volunteers per 2 hour shifts, and we start at 10:00 in the morning each day.
A total of 42 (2 hr) spots are open for volunteers, and I’d really appreciate if you could come for more than one shift!
I thank all those interested in helping and will take any questions at [email protected]
