Riley Symons – 10/23/14
On Thursday, October 23rd 2014 Riley Symons received his Eagle Scout rank.
Riley has been a proud scout since 1st grade, when he joined Cub Scouts.
Riley’s Eagle Scout project was to design and build planters for his church, St. Katherine’s Church in Redondo Beach, to beautify it’s newly remodeled courtyard. Riley worked with Father Michael to plant meaningful herbs: Basil- which is used in some services, Rosemary- which is used to bless a home, and Oregano- because Greek cooking uses a lot of it in their recipes.
Troop 718 and Riley’s family are very proud of his accomplishment.
