Troop Parents – Become a Merit Badge counselor! This is one of most enjoyable ways to help our Scouts! Merit Badge Counselors meet with Scouts to assess whether they have successfully completed BSA requirements for the badge they are earning.
To become a MB Counselor, you must submit an Adult Application, the Merit Badge Counselor application, and proof of completion of YPT to the Troop Merit Badge Coordinator (see attached ROSTER). The applications are listed under FORMS, DOCS, INFO / NEW PARENT VOLUNTEERS. Knowledge in a badge topic is helpful but not required.
