- SUN SEPT 29 TROOP OLYMPICS & JOSHUA TREE PLANNING MEETING
- 3:00-5:00 PM TROOP OLYMPICS!!
- 1:30 SET UP (Come help! Many scouts needed!)
- 2:45 ALL SCOUTS MUST BE IN MEETING ROOM (Don’t be late!)
- 3:00 OPENING CEREMONIES
- Scouts should wear: Class B and shorts
- Scouts should bring: Water, family and competitive spirit!
- 5:00-5:30 PM Joshua Tree Planning Meeting
- If you are going to Joshua Tree, you must attend this meeting!
- BRING YOUR JOSHUA TREE CLIMBERS PERMISSION FORM!!
- 3:00-5:00 PM TROOP OLYMPICS!!
- SUN OCT 6 5:00-6:00 PM FIRST SUNDAY
- Trail to First Class in the Rotunda, PLC in the meeting room.
MERIT BADGE OPPORTUNITIES!
1. Swimming: September 28, 10 a.m. to Noon, Cabrillo Scout Center, $30. Register at GLAACBSA.org. (Go to ‘camping’ then ‘Cabrillo’).
2. First Aid: October 5, 9 a.m. to Noon, Cabrillo Scout Center. Register at GLAACBSA.org. (Go to ‘camping’ then ‘Cabrillo’).
3. Horsemanship: October 19, 12:30-2:30 p.m., and the cost will depend on number of registered Scouts ($45 or $75). Email ASM G. Sorenson ([email protected]) if interested.

OCT 19 3:30-8 p.m. WESTERN NIGHT CARNIVAL Come and volunteer (and play) at Tulita Elementary’s Western Night Carnival–and earn service hours in the process! Scouts may work 2 hour shifts or all 4.5 hours.
OCT 26 & 27 10 a.m.-2 p.m. SCOUTING FOR FOOD at the Riviera Vons. SAVE THE DATE! A shift sign-up is forthcoming.
