Please join me in congratulating our newest Eagle Scout: TOM ESSON
On Wednesday, October 2, 2019, ASM Hanhart presented Tom Esson for his Eagle Board of Review and officially became an Eagle Scout that evening.Tombridged to Troop 718 as a Pack 718 Arrow of Light Scout in March 2013. Tom served asa Patrol Leader, Troop Instructor, and enjoyed his role as a Webelo Den Chief. Tom earned 30 Merit Badges, camped for 63 nights and hiked 139 miles. Enjoying outdoor activities, Tom received the NOA Camping and Aquatic segments and advanced PADI certifications over two summer camps at Emerald Bay. Tom’s Eagle Scout project benefited the Lomita Kiwanis Foundation. Tom retiled the front facade of the Kiwanis building, adding a new bench, planters, and modern light fixtures. Tom is a senior at Palos Verdes Peninsula High School, where he is a physics and surf team member.
I am honored to have been a part of Tom’s journey. Please join me in congratulating Tom and his family on his outstanding achievement.
