Community Service is an important element for character development and a requirement for Rank Advancement. Troop 718 offers recurrent opportunities for Scouts; Scouts may also acquire hours on their own, by obtaining advance approval from the Assistant Scoutmaster for Community Service, in regards to the specific organization and type of service.
Some of the Community Service organizations our Scouts regularly support are Beacon Light Mission and California Trail Days, as well as ongoing Eagle Scout projects.
