Troop 718 is committed to keeping annual dues and outing costs affordable without creating the additional burden of individual fundraising activity. Therefore, Troop 718 conducts selective fundraising and does not promote product sales for fundraising purposes. Currently, the following methods are approved to raise Troop funds:
- Annual Spring garage sale.
- Social events for our Scout families and friends.
- Receipt of grants from local area employers.
Troop 718 does participate in Community Fundraising Events to raise money and awareness for certain organizations. These are generally organized by the Adult Leaders and scheduled on the Troop Calendar so all Scouts have a chance to participate.
