Food on Campouts is a big deal and we have an Outdoor Cooking Program to make even the pickiest eaters happy! We let the Scouts choose the food they ALL want to eat.
Cooking and Food Preparation has a premier role in advancement and Merit Badges. A Scout must be Grubmaster on 2 Car Camp Outings and attend 1 Trail Outing to earn First Class Rank, the Cooking Merit Badge, and the Camping Merit Badge. (See How to Earn your Cooking Badge under this header).
